1. Commitment and General Overview

Our company, Guava Productions Oy, operates in the film and video production sector and as a financial mentor for small and micro-entrepreneurs in the cultural field. We recognise the importance of gender equality and equity both for the well-being of the working community and from the perspective of artistic content. Although we are a micro-enterprise, we are committed to promoting equality in our productions, work processes and partnerships.

2. Actions Promoting Equality

- We pay attention to the composition of subcontractors and production teams and promote a balanced gender distribution in the selection of our partners.
- The themes addressed in our productions are based on the principles of equality and non-discrimination.
- We encourage the creation of content that challenges traditional gender roles and promotes diversity.
- We ensure the well-being of child actors in our productions with particular sensitivity and professional ethics.
- In our productions, we prefer individuals with training or experience in intimacy choreography, especially when dealing with intimate or sensitive scenes.
- We intervene immediately in any discrimination, inappropriate behaviour or experiences of insecurity in our projects.
- We strongly strive to ensure that the working environment is permissive and flexible for parental leave, and that the well-being and needs of employees' and partners' children and families are considered wherever possible, taking into account the specific characteristics of each situation.

3. Monitoring and Evaluation

This gender equality plan is reviewed and updated annually or whenever significant changes occur in our operations. Monitoring includes reviewing the composition of production teams, evaluating the gender perspectives of content, and collecting feedback from crews and performers. This Gender Equality Plan is published on the company's website and is publicly available to all employees, subcontractors and stakeholders. It also serves as an internal guideline in all our productions.
